Researching topics in the news used to a be a tedious process of reading in print (or microfilm) national, regional or local news. Now, database collections allow for keyword searching across vast collections of print media. A number of tools already exist and can assist with media searches, notably: Factiva, Eureka, Globe and Mail and Google News.
